Toronto’s Rising Stars
“Toronto’s Rising Stars” refers to a made-up podcast that I was tasked with creating a primary and secondary logo as well as a cover photo for. This project demonstrates I can create a cohesive colour palette and create different designs that represent the same brand. For this project I used Adobe Illustrator.
Nails For You, By You
“Nails For You, By You” was a project that allowed me to create my own business and design an advertisement for it. This project shows my abilities to draw images on Illustrator and create ads that can be used on sites like Instagram, X, etc.
What’s The Tea?
“What’s The Tea?” is a magazine cover I designed, took the photographs for and edited. This project demonstrates my ability to create a sketch, execute a plan and successfully put together my own images to create something new. Furthermore, it shows my abilities with editing texts and fonts.
Vintage Books
“Vintage Books” is a poster designed using Photoshop to advertise a book store. All the images were obtained using OpenVerse so I was challenged to find images that had a high resolution and also fit my overall goal. This project shows my abilities to manipulate images and create a cohesive design with the purpose of targeting a certain audience.
Fiesta Logo
These logos were designed using Illustrator for a made-up food truck. This project demonstrates my ability to execute creative concepts effectively through Illustrator tools. Additionally, it shows I can adjust logos or branding for specific media such as, packaging, website design, social media posts etc.
