My work

‘Losing Connection’

I began experimenting with painting on vinyl records during COVID-19. I noticed piles of records at thrift stores selling for a couple dollars, some damaged and most collecting dust. This gave me the idea to try and give them a new life by painting them for wall art.

‘Rest Stop’

I am inspired to use such bright colours because my mother always used an interesting colour palette. For this painting I took a photo of myself and altered practically everything besides the pose I was in. I find coming up with your own palette more fun than copying something.

‘The Good Ol’ Days’

This painting was made off an old picture of my dad that I thought was very edgy and contrasted the image of him now (an accountant with an office job). I gifted it to him and it now hangs in our living room.
